What We Do
Children’s Church
Jesus said, “let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these”. Matthew 19:14
Do you want your children to learn about Jesus and let them grow into life changing teens and world changing adults. All is possible in Jesus. Your children will learn bible stories, play games and do crafts. Everything that is learnt is backed up with the bible. Everyone that will be with your child are police checked and are responsible adults. All we need you to do is fill in a quick form to keep your child safe in our care. We hope you will join us at our main church service while your children are in their care. Contact Church Office for more info.

Our Generous Donors and Community Support
Our donations are generously provided by New Life Community Church, alongside contributions from the public and other local churches. We are also very thankful to the local Co-operative Retail Store in Tonyrefail for allowing us to hold monthly collections on their premises. As well as delivering food hampers, we can signpost you to other agencies should you require further assistance to help you out of a crisis situation.
How to Receive a Food Hamper
For more information on how to receive a food hamper, you can call into THE HUB (Monday–Thursday, 10am–12pm), where you will be asked to complete a simple form, or contact the office on 01443 673157.
***As well as delivering food hampers, we will also signpost clients to other agencies should they require additional support to aid them through their crisis situation.***

You will find a warm and welcoming environment, it is a safe place if you need to talk to someone or need some support.
We offer many services that you can gain access too not only through our own volunteers but also through our partners, which means if we don’t have the expertise to help we know someone who can.
The Powerhouse
Central to the heart of NLCC is the Powerhouse, our prayer room. We aim to keep prayer at the core of all we do and the source from which we do all things. We believe in the power of prayer not because of what we pray but because of our great God who eagerly desires to answer our prayers. It is our firm belief that God answers prayers and is glorified in our answered prayers.
The bible teaches that prayer is deeply connected to the fullness of Gods power and purpose being released. We believe that the Powerhouse is the place that God has positioned us to intercede for his church, his family and the wider community he has placed us in.

We are a registered Warm Welcome Space for those struggling to heat their homes this winter. With the cost of living rising, many households will struggle this winter. Being a warm welcome space means it will be:
- FREE – no hidden costs
- WARM – heated and will provide hot refreshments
- WELCOMING – inclusive, non-judgmental spaces where everyone can expect a warm welcome from staff and volunteers.
- SAFE – we abide by our usual safeguarding policies and hygiene rules and will make signposting information available to people who need further support and help.
Don’t be cold this winter. Come in, keep warm and let us support one another.
The Church will be open every Monday – Thursday from 10:00am – 12:00pm, and there is a very warm welcome awaiting YOU.
